purchased from Storax, DBT
GB has once again returned
to the storage systems
company for its high density
storage requirements.
With years of experience
in the production of
mechanised mining
equipment, DBT GB
specialises in the design and
manufacture of a product
range that includes shearers,
armoured face conveyor and
beam stage loader systems,
road headers and diesel
mineral haulers. DBT GB has
invested with Storax three
times; in 1983 it installed the
Storax mobile racking system
for the first time to store
spare parts and tooling,
in 1987 impressed with its
first Storax installation, it
used Storax as a space-saving
storage solution in another
part of its workshop, and
again in 2007, DBT GB
specified Storax mobile
racking for their latest
warehouse extension.
Motorised mobile racks
allow maximum use of the
warehouse space while
allowing complete access to
the pallets. The
superstructure is fixed onto
electrically powered mobile
bases which move on rails
