Modular framework for custom storage
June 1st 2007 Flowstore Systems has
announced the launch of
its new versatile modular
framework system,
FlowTube GS-ACE (General
Storage And Construction
Equipment). Using modular
tube and joint components,
a variety of structures can
be designed and built to
aid storage, assembly,
manufacturing and other
work applications.
Strong steel 28mm
diameter tubes, available
with colour-coded plastic
coating or stainless steel,
are cut to length to suit
individual customer
designs.
These tubes are
connected using a selection
of steel interlocking joints,
which are tightened in
position by an Allen Key to
rapidly assemble
structures. A wide range of
accessories are available
including roller tracks, tube
end bungs, adjustable
height feet and even
castors to create mobile
units. FlowTube has been
used to build various
equipment including
dynamic flow racks for
assembly lines and order
picking systems; storage
shelving and racking,
conveyors, trucks and
trolleys, furniture
constructions and
