Quick and easy to configure
April 1st 2009 BITO has launched the ERGO
modular storage system, a
self-assembly storage system
which comes in kits formed
from robust, epoxy-coated
steel tubes of the same
diameter making it
extremely versatile.
With a total of 12
standard components, ERGO
allows users to set up live
storage units, material
supply shelving and general
purpose racks rapidly at a
competitive price as well as
allowing them to
reconfigure shelving easily
when required.
Because ERGO's tubes
have the same diameter of
28.6 mm only one size of
nickel plated and varnished
connector is required
avoiding complicated
assembly processes.
The tubes are available
with a wall thickness of
either 1 or 2 mm, and come
in two standard colours. BITO
also provides an ESD version.
Accessories such as
adapters, roller tracks,
castors and levelling feet
allow a customised rack
design and easy
reconfiguration to suit
individual requirements.
BITO's ERGO is suitable for
manufacturers operating
Kaizan, lean manufacturing
or Continuous Improvement
Process (CIP) and is designed
