September 1st 2010 The HIPAK Kinetic 2400 is the latest
quick set corrugated box maker from
Autobox Machinery, aimed at both
corrugated box plants requiring a
machine capable of running large or
small box sizes in short to medium
runs and end users looking to
produce boxes in house.
Features include: an automatic one
minute tool less size change, over 100
different FEFCO styles, blank widths
from 100 mm to 2.4m, board grades
from E Flute to AA 300/300 and run
speeds of up to 1200 boxes per hour
coupled with Kinetic energy reclaim
technology.
The design brief for the new
machine was to produce a box maker
that requires the absolute minimum
of setting time and without having to
fit any change parts. Barry Tabor
Autobox's MD explains: "A box
making machine only makes money
when it is producing boxes so we have
ensured that our new machines are
quick set and will provide reliable
