Available from Stevens Group, the Compupak 5 Average Weight System is used for regulating and controlling the fill levels of packaged products coming off a production line. It also provides the functionality needed to record quality data associated with the packaged products that are being sampled. The main advantage claimed for Compupak 5 is its ability to minimise product overfill while ensuring that relevant rules are met according to legislative and Trading Standards requirements. Standard routines in the software include: reports and graphs; tare estimation; scale calibration routines; collation of reference test information; head check routines; and packed product sampling. Ease of operation comes from standard PC technology using Microsoft Windows operating systems.
