Single installation saves time and cash
August 1st 2007 Christian Salvesen has
purchased RedPrairie's
warehouse management
solution, initially for new
site implementations
and thereafter on a
planned replacement
programme.
A single, centrally
controlled installation
will be web-deployed
across all of Christian
Salvesen's UK
distribution centres,
replacing legacy systems at
each location and
eliminating the cost and
complexity of maintaining
them. The system will
support all clients and all
distribution centre activities,
such as receiving, putaway,
picking, inventory
management and stock
control, with all functionality
available through a browser.
User-specific permissions
will give clients, endcustomers
and suppliers
online access to their
account and order
