Mezzanines for distribution centre

The Mezzanine Floor Company has won a major contract from KNAPP Logistik Automation to provide a number of mezzanines for Clarks Shoes new 28,000m2 Central Distribution Centre (CDC) in Somerset.

The main mezzanine will be used as an order picking area for double entry shelving and carton live storage. At 6m and 9.5m, each level is 8974m2.

The structure also incorporates a 710m2 level at 3m and a further 150m2 level at 3.5m. Mezzanine will also construct a control room, sited on the 3m level, to give an overview of the sorter area.
