Welconstruct tops up Tann

A Welconstruct mezzanine floor has boosted space at paper manufacturer, Tann UK’s HQ in Glossop.

The cigarette filter manufacturer needed to move all production related jobs into one dedicated area – and the 300m2 mezzanine has enabled this while opening up the building to include new laboratories, improving the production flow within the building and creating more practical space for the team.

Working in partnership with Tann UK and its chosen architect, Storey Sons & Parker, the team at Welconstruct acted as principal contractor.

According to the company, the combined team was able to offer “the best possible solution”, to maximise space within the building by providing a turnkey package.

A range of partitioning systems, suspended ceilings, floor covering, w/c facilities, electrical works, plus office and laboratory furniture was installed. “We’re delighted,” says Tann UK MD, Thomas Interthal.
