Export packaging saves cash
August 1st 2005

Cinpres Gas Injection, a technology, equipment and customer support provider to the gas-assisted moulding industry, is saving money on its export shipping with Crocodile’s One Trip 11mm OSB packaging system.

According to Crocodile, not only are the crates now stored more efficiently in their flat-packed sets, but the time taken to safely assemble the cases, plus pack and unpack equipment, has been greatly reduced.

Crocodile has also specified foam sets to give additional protection to the equipment within the crane.

“The cost of our shipping operation has been significantly reduced, as has the time taken to package equipment for export,” says Cinpres production manager, Kai Wilbraham.

“The new packaging also saves time at the other end and we can be confident that the goods will arrive with the customer undamaged and better presented.” Cinpres also benefits from the packaging’s ISPM 115 compliance. This is particularly important since the company hopes to source components from China, which adheres strictly to ISPM 15 regulations.
