Turn waste into packing
August 1st 2005 Packer Products has launched an industrial shredder to turn everyday waste paper, corrugated board and cardboard into a highly effective packing material.
The shredder cuts waste product into continuous strips at up to 10m per minute. The resultant product can be used both as a protective wrapping and volume void fill. It allows users to pre-produce material in advance and use as much as is needed for all types of jobs – removing the need to stock different types of material.
The machine is available in three models: low volume; a single-phase low to medium version with a cutting width of 320mm handling material up to 10mm thick; and a high volume 3-phase version offering extra wide cutting up to 420mm on material up to 15mm thick.
