Flames can't touch this

UK manufacturer and distributor of beauty and cosmetic products, Herb UK, was pleased to discover all was not lost following a savage fire at its Hampshire based warehouse.

The fire was so fierce that twenty fire appliances and over 100 fire fighters were needed to control the flames which, in places, reached 20ft. It took Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service over 2 hours to get the blaze under control and it was midnight before the flames had been completely doused.

When Managing Director Raoul Perfitt was finally allowed into the remains of his business the sight that greeted him was one of almost complete devastation, but on entering what had been the manufacturing area he saw that the recently purchased Empteezy drum storage unit was, apart from superficial blackening, completely in tact.

Empteezy has been booked to carry out an assessment of the entire site and make recommendations for the site's drum and flammable liquids storage needs.
