LINPAC racking a hit with Bong
February 1st 2005

The combination of LINPAC’s double deep pallet racking and a mezzanine with Longspan shelving has provided Bong UK with an efficient storage solution between its two existing buildings in Milton Keynes.

With the new facility, headquarters, factory and warehouse have been brought together under one roof for the first time.

Inside the new 1,491m2 building, double deep racking with a top beam level of 8.85m was installed to provide sufficient storage for over 50 million envelopes.

The pallet racking has been fitted out with open boarded timber to allow storage of different sized pallets.

A mezzanine has been constructed in the new warehouse facility.

Engineers who maintain the factory machinery have their workshop underneath the mezzanine. Spare parts for envelope manufacturing are stored on top on the Longspan shelving.
