Quick response enables trade to continue August 1st 2005 Solvent, adhesive, filler and wood preservative treatment manufacturer, Bartoline, has been able to carry on trading after fire destroyed its factory, thanks to a joint effort from Hi-Lo Storage Systems and Kingstonian Storage Equipment. Supported by Hi-Lo, Kingstonian initially racked a temporary store and has now completed the fitting out of the company’s new storage facilities.
Responding to Bartoline’s immediate storage needs, Kingstonian dismantled existing racking from a temporary store adjacent to the old factory and installed it at the temporary site, along with new Hi-Lo Premierack.
Having carried out a site visit to ascertain the most cost effective solution, Hi-Lo produced very heavy-duty upright 6m frames, which could then be spliced to incorporate 6m frames.
After Kingstonian Storage dismantled the 6m racking fitted at the temporary site and reinstalled it in the new storage areas, additional heavy duty Premierack was added to convert the system to 12 m high racking.
To reduce waste, Premierack features uprights that can be reversed in the event of damage. More articles from HiLo-PSS Group: |
