Safe and secure taper tooling storage

Taper tooling presents a number of storage and handling challenges. There is a multitude of taper types and tool lengths and weights can be considerable. The tapers must not be damaged and the sharp pointed tools represent a safety hazard to operatives, particularly as they are moved through the workshop.

ABS inserts hold the tapers correctly and are available in ISO, VDI and HSK formats. These inserts are located in sturdy steel carrier blocks, which can be used freestanding or incorporated into Botts storage and transport products. These range from simple wall mounted panels to trolleys, drawer cabinets and cupboards.
