Timber framed buildings manufacturer, Stewart Milne Timber, is benefiting from streamlined materials handling thanks to an integrated solution from Locators. Cantilever racking systems, which have been designed to interface with Stewart Milne Timbers fleet of 17 Combilift forklift trucks, have been installed at sites in Witney and Aberdeen. Providing the Combilifts as well as the racking, Locators was able to ensure that both worked in synergy.

Locators maximised use of the 2700m2 Witney warehouse by installing 84m of double-sided cantilever racking, supplied in Stewart Milne Timbers corporate colours. Locators also designed and installed pallet racking and steel partitioning to create a safe area for nail storage.

The Combilift trucks were chosen for their versatility, manoeuvrability and ability to handle long, bulky loads in confined spaces.
