Packing productivityAugust 1st 2005
A review of existing packing system has led to a reported increase in packing productivity of 200% for cable gland manufacturer, Hawke International.
The company traditionally used an old form, fill and seal system to pack cable gland kits. The system was unreliable and created a bottleneck.
Automated Packaging Systems took a sample away for testing and after very careful consideration recommended an Autobag AB180 bagger, PI412c Thermal Printer and sectioned tray.
The system has proved to be highly productive, operating at up to 80 bags per minute, producing a bag of much improved quality and appearance.
