Temporary storage at the Ready
August 1st 2009

The new Ready Box range of retractable modular tunnels from Spaciotempo is said to be increasingly finding favour in industrial applications. From overflow storage, to additional workshop space and protection from the elements, the units can also provide temporary loading/ unloading areas, undercover walkways and service bays.

The range consists of five models with widths from 1 to 12m and heights from 2 to 4m. The lighter Ready Box 1 range has a standard and extra model, which varies in specification according to requirements.

Both can be installed using a rubber tyre that works without a track, minimising cost.

The Readybox 2 features two units with bigger dimensions for larger applications.

Two nylon or rubber wheels run smoothly along a sunken aluminium track, which incorporates a lift-proof system to ensure the box remains firmly secured.

The Readybox 3 is the newest and biggest product in the range and offers a sturdier option combined with a greater height for larger capacity operations.

All units can stand independently or connect to internal and external walls depending on the requirement. They retract fully back to a minimum of 25cm, which is particularly useful in confined areas where valuable additional space can be freed up quickly when the tunnel is not in use.

Simple to operate, the tunnel can be reextended forwards easily by one person and locked into place as and when required. Importantly, the whole unit can be easily relocated if it is needed elsewhere on or off-site.
