Health and safety is often deemed a drain on resources, a cost to be beared and some companies try to dodge it. But it is worth remembering that, in the warehouse, good health and safety practice goes hand in hand with high productivity. After all, careful forklift use for example, not only keeps staff safe it reduces damage to equipment and stock, keeping costs down.
