SEC Storage gaining recognition at the CILT Awards
17 August 2020
SEC Storage has been selected as a finalist for the CILT Awards for Excellence in the category of ‘Warehouse Operations’, for the second year in a row.
The solution designed and installed was reliant on substantial amounts of data analysis to ensure the key benefits included increased efficiency, selectivity and effectiveness through a very safe system. Furthermore, SEC could demonstrate that with its proposed space utilisation solution, the customer was able to move from two buildings into one facility reducing their overall footprint, yet improving space utilisation and process efficiency which has delivered huge savings for the company.
SEC Storage’s commercial director Harry Watts says: “This project has been particularly important as it has highlighted the power of data driven innovation and the processes through which we harness data to provide the optimal solution to the customer. This is a unique feature in the market place with very few companies, if any, able to offer the intricate level of analysis which is part of the SEC Storage process.”
SEC Group has also been shortlisted for the Data Excellence Award at the prestigious 2020 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
Harry adds: “This is a huge achievement for our business and we are enormously proud to have been shortlisted in such a competitive, prestigious awards programme. Data is an essential, integrated part of our global strategy; which we harness every day to create optimised solutions for our customers. We are very proud that we’ve been recognised for our innovation through data, by utilising bespoke analytics and artificially intelligent tools to provide unique and enhanced solutions to our customers.”
The award winners will be announced on 10th November 2020.
