The first integrated and fully corrugated pallet is said to have been developed by Smurfit Kappa.

Aimed at manufacturers, packers and exporters, the IntegraPal has been designed for products in the food, chemical and retail industries and for the freight and air freight markets.Made from corrugated material, the IntegraPal does not use a wooden pallet - therefore no pallet treatment is required. The IntegraPal also offers a low tare weight which saves on transportation costs and reduces the carbon footprint of shipments.

The pallet is capable of taking a load of up to 250kg per case and can accommodate products stacked two levels high inside a container.
