Couzens Storage Solutions has
added the recently upgraded Modula
vertical lift storage, picking and
retrieval system to its extensive
range of of lifts and carousels.
The main components have been reconfigured to provide further useful storage in less space and a faster drawer handling speed of up to 100 operations per hour.
The company says: "The product is ideal for storing a variety of goods of different dimensions in a single unit. It also automatically selects and transports items to and from the operator, delivering improved productivity, faster picking and lower costs.
"Units can be supplied up to 14m high as standard to make maximum use of overhead space, with different sized trays to match individual storage demands." Maximum load per lift tray is 750kg, with total unit capacity of 60,000kg.
The automatic height optimisation system is designed to store products of different heights in the most efficient manner.Multiple access ports on either side of the lift, at heights to suit both ground floor and mezzanine level operations, provide additional picking speeds and operational flexibility.
