Automated packing range expansion

Heat sealing specialist Proseal has expanded its range of packing equipment with the introduction of a fully automatic high speed wedge erector and heat sealing system capable of speeds of up to 90 packs per minute.

The new Proseal GT3S features a three axis pick and place system that is able to transfer filled packs quickly to the sealing area. The system can handle carton widths of up to 110mm and the single point size adjustment means changeovers between pack sizes can be carried out in less than five minutes.

The GT3SV incorporates gas flushing into the sealing operation for extended shelf life while still delivering speeds of up to 60 packs per minute.
