Get paid for the work you do

According to MACS Software, when it comes to charging for work completed in a 3PL environment there is a dilemma: picking up absolutely every chargeable action using an old-fashioned manual system is impractical yet, li
The trick is to ensure that the information necessary to charge accurately is collected at the time the action is performed but that the accounts system only receives the information it needs to record the transaction and produce the invoice.
Warehouse management software from MACS Software has a built-in charging module that is designed to do exactly that. It collects all the data from the operational side, whether it is a single ad hoc job or a standard process, applies the relevant variables for each customer, and then advises the accounts system of the invoice value. All the detail that went into that invoice's creation is kept within the WMS to be accessed for supporting documentation only if a query arises.
