Swisslog UK appoints new head of customer support

Swisslog UK, the global supplier of automated logistics solutions, has appointed Steve Thorp as its new head of customer support.

Recent new account wins and the growing popularity of automated intralogistics systems, brought about by a boom in e-commerce and multi-channel retailing, has led to Swisslog bolstering its UK operation.


As head of customer support, Steve will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the UK Customer Support division, leading a highly experienced, multi-disciplined team in the delivery of value-enhancing service and support.

"Our customer support personnel work hard to provide innovative and proactive services and Steve will help us drive the business forwards and ensure our UK operations continue to grow.”


A multi-skilled, highly driven, management professional, Steve has over 25 years’ experience of programme and project leadership, and a track record of successfully delivering business-critical contracts.
