Fuel duty frozen until 2015
30 September 2013
Chancellor George Osborne has pledged to freeze fuel duty until the end of the current parliamentary term in 2015.

The move will disappoint those hoping for a cut in fuel duty but at least rules out further rises in the tax and provides certainty for haulage businesses over the next two years.
Osborne made the pledge in a speech at the Conservative Party Conference.
