Distributor agreement
14 April 2015
Logistex has signed an agreement with Norway’s Hatteland to be one of the official distributors of the AutoStore automated warehouse system in the UK.

AutoStore is a module based storage system in which goods are stored in bins that are stacked on top of one another in a self-supporting aluminium grid. The bins are handled by radio controlled, battery powered robots which move on rails on top of the grid, lifting bins, moving them for further processing and then placing them back into the grid. Bins leave the grid at access ports for pick or replenishment. The fact that each robot and each port are independent units makes AutoStore a reliable and flexible system.
According to Derek Kay, business development director at Logistex: "AutoStore is a unique, high-density automated storage & retrieval system which will provide a particularly cost-effective solution for businesses seeking efficiency improvements within their existing footprint.
"The leading edge technology available from AutoStore, integrated with our in-house warehouse management system LWS Reflex, provides a powerful combination for any supply chain operation seeking to improve its performance.”
