Spec build DCs on way for West London

06 January 2016

Prologis will develop two speculative units of 113,335 sq ft and 78,780 sq ft at Prologis Park West London, its 30 acre site next to Stockley Park in Hayes, Middlesex.

Volkerfitzpatrick has been appointed as the main contractor and construction work will start in early January.

Prologis acquired the site from the Stockley Park Consortium in September 2014 and it has planning permission to transform the vacant site into a 465,293 square foot light industrial and distribution development, with the potential to bring 650 jobs to the local area.

Each distribution centre will include a rooftop solar installation that will generate 10 percent of the building’s regulated energy. Both new facilities will be constructed to achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘very good’ rating.
