Two serious forklift accidents cause concern

A crewman was killed in what is believed to be a forklift accident at Invergordon Quayside on Friday, April 22.
The crewman, with the ship Deep Energy, was berthed at Invergordon and operated by subsea engineering and construction firm, Technip.
Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive are carrying out a joint investigation into the incident.
Fighting for life
In a separate incident, a man was involved in a forklift accident in Dungannon, Co Tyrone on Monday April 18. The seriously injured man is being treated at Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital.
It is understood the man was working in a cage attached to the forklift when it fell to the ground.
